SUMMARY:[Online] Ayurveda Weekend Workshop (15 YA CEUs)
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday and Sunday\, January 20-21\, 2024\, you can join me online for a two-day Ayurveda Weekend Workshop\, a stand-alone part of Nora Benian’s 300-HR Advanced Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program. This weekend immersion is a focused practicum for students of yoga but all are welcome and encouraged to attend.\n\nSaturday\, from 1-7pm\, you will learn aspects of Ayurveda theory: the purpose\, origins\, and history of Ayurveda plus important siddhanta (principles)\, panchamahabhutas (the five great elements\, and their origins)\, doshas (functional pathways)\, the body in Ayurveda\, and how health is known.\n\nDay two will be a bit longer but perhaps a bit more juicy. We’ll meet from 10am – 7pm and will look at ways to bring Ayurveda into reality in life\, in the practice of yoga\, daily routine (dinacarya)\, nightly routine (ratricarya)\, seasonal routine (rtucarya)\, diet\, and cleansing practices.\n\nLearning will include lecture\, group activities\, and practicum sessions. There will be opportunities to explore methods to apply Ayurveda in various ways\, and for different types of individuals.
