Why should I do an Ayurveda cleanse?
Ayurveda’s time-tested methods are aimed with restoring balance to the body and mind. Cleansing is recommended seasonally in Ayurveda because imbalances can accumulate with the change in weather patterns. Anytime the dosha has become imbalanced, cleansing is recommended.
Doesn’t my body naturally cleanse itself?
Your body eliminates waste through sweat, excretion, and urination, however any food that is undigested contributes to imbalances. If your metabolic processes are functioning optimally your system will be in great health. If not, imbalances occur.
